Since 2002, Dr. Stu Steinman has served as attending physician at Westsports Medicine, where he treats acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. He is board certified in sports medicine and emergency medicine. Dr. Stu Steinman is an avid biker whose passion has taken him along the New York City bike tour as well as through Vietnam and Wales.

The TD Five Boro Bike Tour is an annual bike tour that occurs on the first Sunday of May. The tour tackles 40 miles through all five boroughs on streets that are blocked off to all auto and truck traffic – meaning for one day the whole city belongs to bikers. Additionally, the tour is the largest charitable bike ride in the country with proceeds going toward free bike education programs. Last year, the organization was able to teach biking skills to more than 17,000 individuals.

To take part in this exciting endeavor, bikers need to register in advance. Registration for the spring ride opens on January 10 online. To get a reminder, bikers can sign up for the newsletter at http://www.bike.nyc/events/td-five-boro-bike-tour/.
